Gurdip Bath serves as High Commissioner of Saint Kitts and Nevis to the Republic of India and has also served as Commercial Attaché at the High Commission in London. His diplomatic record includes a 2013 appointment as Special Representative of Saint Kitts and Nevis, with a mandate focused on foreign direct investment and international enterprise.

He continued serving the Federation across a change of administration. His work supported additional visa-free travel agreements for Kittitian and Nevisian citizens, while his wider international service has included Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings, United Nations General Assembly engagements and Small Island Developing States forums.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bath worked with Caribbean governments to facilitate access to vaccines from India at a moment of exceptional international logistics pressure.

His humanitarian support also included food parcels, essential supplies and educational assistance. The work reflects a practical approach to international relationships: connecting institutions, people and resources when they are needed.

Alongside diplomacy, Bath has built an international career as an investor and entrepreneur, with interests spanning real estate, hospitality and agriculture across Europe, the Middle East, India and the Caribbean.

That commercial experience informs a mandate focused on productive partnerships, foreign direct investment and the creation of durable connections between business communities.

Community service remains an important part of his work. In 2021, he coordinated the movement of a 40-foot container of food supplies distributed through the National Emergency Management Agency and supported a Christmas programme serving health, care, faith, disability and youth organisations across Saint Kitts.

His education work has included facilitating laptop donations to students at Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College in 2023. Alongside vaccine transportation, food parcels and essential supplies, these initiatives bring private networks together with practical public purpose.
