Gurdip “Dev” Bath

Gurdip Bath currently serves as the High Commissioner of Saint Kitts and Nevis to the Republic of India and as Commercial Attaché at the High Commission of Saint Kitts and Nevis in London, United Kingdom.

In these capacities, he represents Saint Kitts and Nevis at official engagements and works to promote diplomatic relations, trade, investment and strategic partnerships.

He has participated in Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings (CHOGM) since 2014 and has also attended United Nations General Assembly meetings and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) engagements.

Recognizing his contribution to the country, the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis appointed him as a Special Representative, a role he carries with pride.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Gurdip Bath worked with the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis to facilitate access to vaccines from India for the Caribbean.

He was involved in arranging the transportation of vaccines by charter from India to the Caribbean at a time when international logistics presented significant challenges.

His efforts during the pandemic also extended to arranging dry food parcels and essential supplies for Saint Kitts and Nevis and neighbouring Caribbean states through his international network.

Alongside his diplomatic activities, Gurdip Bath is an international investor and entrepreneur with business interests across Europe, the Middle East, India and the Caribbean.

His interests include real estate, hospitality and agricultural assets. His business activities connect him with entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders across multiple international markets.

He has real estate interests in London, India and Dubai and has developed hospitality interests in Punjab, India, including luxury wedding venues. Coming from an agricultural background, he also maintains significant agricultural interests in Punjab.

Community service remains an important part of Gurdip Bath’s work.

Over the past several years, he has worked with his international network to mobilize financial and material support for communities in Saint Kitts and Nevis and neighbouring Caribbean states.

For approximately seven years, he has helped facilitate annual Christmas donations, including containers carrying toys, food parcels and other essential items for communities in need.

Through his connections with business leaders and high-net-worth individuals around the world, he continues to bring people together, build partnerships and support initiatives aimed at improving communities.
